I’m wearing this cute t-shirt that is under $40 and comes in six other color ways. It’s so comfortable—perfect for day, especially if you’re chasing around a new walker… I mean, runner! Watson is into absolutely everything and does not want to be held. And he does not want to hold your hand either! He gets it from me… he wants to do it himself, thank you very much. I paired the shirt with these really breezy lace-up linen/cotton blend shorts. I love the stripes and they’re super comfortable. All the outfit details will be linked in the bottom, but in today’s post, I’m going to show you how I take a super casual outfit like this into a look that’s perfect for a spring night!
This one was too funny to not share!
First, I tucked in the shirt and added this ruffle hem jacket on top. I swear it dresses up any outfit. Really tempted to go back and get it in the three other colors! I switched the flat sandals for ones with a little heel. They are so comfortable—I definitely don’t even feel like I’m wearing any heel at all when I wear these. Then I switched up the earrings for some that are more bold. Lastly, I added a fun clutch rather than carrying a big bag. I love this one so much. Again, all outfit details are linked at the very bottom! I got all of these pieces from Nordstrom. I love catching their good sales, but I also really love scouring the new arrivals because I find pieces that will carry me through the seasons and help my current wardrobe transition into the new weather. They have so many high and low pieces, so there’s really something for every budget. This shirt, jacket, and shorts all together are under $200—and you can create so many separate outfits out of these pieces!
p.s The Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale is going on… I linked some of my favorites here!
