Catching up a little around here…
Went to Garden & Gun’s 5th Annual JUBILEE a couple weeks ago. I could have made a weekend out of it—maybe next year I will. It’s a 3-day festival that sort of feels like you’ve stepped inside the magazine. So think—delicious Southern food, curated shopping, art and live music, sporting, and lots of odds and ends that celebrate this southern culture. I took my mom and Watson, which was a lot of fun. There’s so much to do at JUBILEE, you really need at least a whole day to explore it all—and there are different events and offerings all throughout the days and nights of the event.
That same weekend my girlfriends surprised me with a “sprinkle” brunch for baby girl at Poogan’s Porch. It was honestly just so nice. It was such a treat just being with all of them at once (and at a delicious restaurant, no less), but they also brought sweet, thoughtful gifts for our girl that I can’t wait to use.
Second Sunday on King.
I’m wearing this $15 shirt. A lot of you have asked about sizing, I’m in a medium, but it definitely runs big. I think I would have been fine with a small, even with my giant pregnant belly. Also wearing these glasses, which are some of my very favorites ever and are only $55. Found this velvet bow at J. Crew—check it out because it’s on big sale and adds a lot to a simple ponytail. These are the maternity pants I’m wearing. My shoes are from last year… they are by Dr. Scholl’s. These are almost identical by the same brand and they’re majorly reduced in price! Found them here, too. Y’all, they are so comfortable.
I ordered something special from Madre Dallas, which I’ll share soon. Their monograms are seriously so beautiful.
We went to Charleston’s Holiday Festival of Lights with some great friends. This was Watson’s first time on a carousel and he loved it!
Brandon put a TV on our back screened porch and on the warmer days, I’ve loved going out here to work and catch up on some DVR shows during Watson’s nap. Still loving our outdoor sectional from Leisure Made!
We picked out a tree for our front porch at Toogoodoo Tree Farm in Meggett, SC. It was fun to cut it down ourselves. Don’t let the fact that I’m carrying the saw mislead you. I had zero part in the actual cutting.
