Rosie’s Nursery

Rosie’s room. I’m so excited to finally share it with you. All the sources will be linked at the bottom, but I’ll explain details as we go… Her crib, dresser, and bookcase are all by Million

Rosie’s room. I’m so excited to finally share it with you. All the sources will be linked at the bottom, but I’ll explain details as we go…

Her crib, dresser, and bookcase are all by Million Dollar Baby Classic. Their website has a “find a retailer” option on it, which lists online stores as well. A bunch of their pieces can even be found on Amazon. The quality is high and the price can’t be beat for how gorgeous this furniture is. I really couldn’t be happier. (The crib looks identical to one I’ve been eyeing for years by Serena & Lily, which I’m assuming may be the same one—just more expensive there!)

Sweet little clothes by Lullaby Set and Dondolo.

I filled this basket with some sweet stuffed animals, like this Cuddle and Kind dog. This company is amazing, by the way. With each stuffed animal sold, they are able to feed 10 hungry children. They have given almost 3.5 million meals to those in need!

All of the lighting in Rosie’s room is by Lamps Plus—the ceiling light, the floor lamp, her bunny accent lamp, and this lamp shown above.

This one might be my favorite of the bunch, though. It has brass details and makes such a gentle statement with how tonal the colors are, but how chunky the base is.

…and I finally have the perfect place to put my Herend figurines. My mom and I found these in an antique shop in Beaufort one day years ago for such a steal. They are a perfect gift to Rosie. (Although I might have to gift them back to myself during her toddler years.)

Her glider is the same we used in Watson’s nursery, which is from Celadon Home. You should have seen him when we took it out of his room. Let’s just say he was not happy! He marched right into his sissy’s room, threw that pillow and blanket on the ground, and with a big sigh, he sat back on that chair like he was the king. It kind of made me sad—taking something of his away to give her. I was really tempted to get another one for that reason alone, but decided that was money we could save. They really are the best chairs though, so I wouldn’t have minded having a matching pair! (They aren’t designed to specifically be baby gliders.)

I had her pillow made by Madre Dallas.

Do you remember when I talked about the artwork we were having commissioned with Rebecca Hoyle? This is the piece she created for us. It’s so, so special to us. It’s a painting of a day we had at Sullivan’s Island last spring on Easter Sunday. Watson had just started taking a few steps here and there, so that’s him walking in the painting. (Make sure you check out the bottom of this post because Rebecca is giving away a painting up to size 11×14″! )

I knew we had to have this bunny lamp from Lamps Plus the moment I saw it. It comes in white too, but I wanted to bring in some blues into her nursery and love the way it accents that little corner! Hung on the wall is this Eden Flora sketch.

I found the round table base on Craigslist and had a custom table cover made by this Etsy shop owner. The basket on the table was something we picked up while on Harbour Island last spring. Perfect to hold little things like hairbows and her first pair of shoes.

Here’s a better look at her ceiling light. I think it’s fun and sweet.

Rosie’s bedding is by Serena & Lily. (The specific links are below.) The pillow in her crib (just for decoration—she isn’t sleeping in there yet) is by Ballard Designs.
