I’ve got Valentine’s Day on the brain! I walked into Michael’s the other day and all the pinks and reds just got me. This is a day I’ve always loved… Brandon and I had our first date on Valentine’s Day 15 years ago and even though we don’t celebrate it much at all now (other than a love note!), I LOVE celebrating it with our kids!!

It’s such a fun holiday to share with little ones! Watson and I baked our first cake together last year on Valentine’s Day and put tons of heart shaped sprinkles on top, which he picked off and licked the icing…and I ate the cake! (Teamwork.)  I’m excited that Rosie will be old enough this year to join in some of the fun since she was just over a month old last year!

Last year, I set out a Valentine’s Day display for Watson to see when he woke up that morning. I had a construction truck toy, a treat or two, and lots of heart decor! Pretty simple, but it may as well have been Christmas morning for him!

Here are 25 things that will inspire your Valentine’s Day this year. Little gifts, books, treats, and decor… all of my favorites are shown below and linked! (Most of them are from Amazon, so that’s a win in itself!)

1 – Combining my love for bunnies with Valentine’s Day… perfect!

– This letter banner is under $2!  Love the idea of hanging it over a mantel or along a sideboard… or anywhere! My mom seemed to have a banner for every celebration growing up and it made everything feel so special.

3 – Rosie has something similar to this and loves to pull the little stuffed pieces out and put them back in.

4 – This is a sweet little book where you lift the flaps… our kids love these!

5 – Available in multiple colors for the boys and girls.

6 – Rosie is obsessed with these soft busy books right now. This one has lots of interactive tasks inside!

– So cute!

8 – Perfect for a little boy or girl who loves to watch things in motion. This is something that would keep Watson’s attention for over an hour.

9 – This activity cube is precious. Love that it looks like a truck! (I love this one, too!)

10 – Fun activity book for toddlers and older. Also think these stickers are great.

11 – Love this banner, too. Over 12ft long and under $8.

12 – Watson has some walkie talkies like this and LOVES them!

 13 – Tricia Lowenfield’s custom Valentine’s are the sweetest I’ve seen.

14 – Watson and Rosie got this doctor’s set for Christmas and it has been the most played with toy! It also comes in a blue set.

15 – Is there anything better than chocolate covered strawberries?

16 – Love the idea of letting your littles play with window clings. I have these in my Amazon cart!

17 – This book looks so sweet.

18 – Musical books are a favorite in our house. This one has nothing to do with V-Day, but it’s cute!

19 – Cutie silicone teethers!

20 – This is Amazon’s best selling Valentine’s Day book and it looks adorable.

21 – Another cute t-shirt that comes in tons of colors!

22 – The cutest pom pom garland.

23 – If your toddler is obsessed with trucks and tools like Watson, then this would surely be a sweet surprise!

24 – I buy little packs of themed plates to use in the weeks leading up to a holiday. It’s a fun way to get your child excited and plus… easy clean up!  Here are the napkins that coordinate.

25 – Another cute lift-a-flap book!
