Today I’m sharing the first of my 2019 holiday gift guides! I know it’s just the beginning of November, but I didn’t realize how many people like to get a head start on shopping until I did a poll on instagram stories last week. It was almost unanimous—most everyone who voted wanted all the gift guides up in November with many of you saying, “The sooner the better!” So? Here we go.
I’ll likely put up 1-2 gift guides per week through December, sharing gifts for moms, dads, teachers, babies, toddler boys, and more. Speaking of, please tell me in the comments who you are shopping for this year and what other guides you’d like to see. This will help me a ton!
Today’s guide is all about the toddler girl in your life. Of course, I based this on what I would buy for Rosie. In fact, she already has a lot of the things I’m featuring, like this doctor kit that endlessly entertains her (and Watson, too!). She also has this baby doll and I’m so impressed with the quality. The puzzles (#8 and #9) are always a huge hit and you can’t beat the wood construction of Melissa and Doug’s products. I am for sure adding #10 to Rosie’s gift list this year. We received one of those as a little party favor and she loved it. And how sweet is the sweater—#13? If you want to shop it or the entire website, use code HOLYCITYCHIC to save 10% off. Rosie received the baby stroller in #24 last year from my parents and it’s one of the only big toys that I don’t mind seeing at all. It’s precious and Rosie loves it. We have it in white, but I also love the natural tone. I’m also adding #30 to her list and #37! I’ll definitely be replenishing their play-doh collection as well since it hardens over time. I bought the set in #35 and it has lasted an entire year and still has a lot of life to it. Can’t beat the price. I highly suggest the tools like in #36 as well! Oh, and don’t forget to take a peek at the jammies in #29. They are adorable. Lastly, we have #39 and #40 and they are huge hits for Rosie. Can’t recommend those enough. #40 is by Learning Resources, which is the same brand that makes the doctor kit and the play food in #21. The entire brand is amazing. All of the toys have an educational aspect to them and are the highest quality.
Next up, I’ll be sharing a gift guide for toddler boys. Don’t forget to leave your suggestions for future guides in the comments. I’ll be running new ones weekly through Christmas!
