Watson refused to be in our family picture 🤷🏼♀️ ...
Just moments before we went on a beach walk that turned into a torrential downpour... so uncomfortable but will always be a hilarious memory I’ll never forget—being a mile away on the beach with two 30lb children we had to carry through the soft sand while getting hit with sideways rain. Here’s a @loopycases code for you, by the way! STOKES10 will save you 10% on your order. These are the best phone cases... I cannot go without mine! This is the white ombré I have on my phone right now. #loopypartner #sponsored ...
Last time we boated here, the pigs weren’t anywhere to be found... But now that we’ve done this, I never ever—I repeat—ever need to do it again 😂 the little one was cute until he started squealing and jumping out of my arms, which you can see documented midway through these pics! And you definitely need to watch where you step, if you know what I mean. But it was the absolute highlight of the kids’ day, so I guess I’d do it over and over again for them 🤷🏼♀️ @tymancharters @bahamian_brunette ...
What do you have to do to enter the Bahamas right now? That’s a question I’ve gotten from so many of you who have said you’re planning a trip of your own in the near future. All of the info is on the travel.gov.bs website but I’ll do my best to explain! There are no active covid cases right now on Harbour Island or Eleuthera (where you fly into to head to Harbour Island) and they are doing an excellent job trying to keep it that way. Before you leave the US, you’re required to have a negative PCR covid test within 5 days of travel, then upload those results along with an application for a travel health visa. It’s approved or denied very quickly. You can do this on the travel.gov.bs website. Once on the island, you’re required to fill out a daily health survey that is emailed to you every morning that asks about any symptoms, exposure, etc. Then on the 5th day, you’re required to have another covid test. (We did ours yesterday at Briland Premiere.) Masks are required absolutely everywhere that you’re around other people, except while eating at restaurants and on the beach—places you can socially distance. Before heading home to the US, you’ve got to have another negative covid test before being able to board the flight—changes are being made now to include this test in the health visa fee. Children under 10 are exempt from having to have the first two covid tests, but they do have to have the health visas. Anyone over age 2 has to have a negative rapid antigen covid test before leaving Bahamas. I think the Bahamas has done an EXCELLENT job balancing safety with tourism, which is something this country absolutely relies on to survive. Hope this helps! ❤️ ...
Thanks to Captain Bob for carrying southern pecan creamer in his grocery store, my Bahamian coffee game is back on track now that I’ve got my one Tbsp per cup back. 🙌🏼 In other news, how cute are these @lakepajamas? They are sold out of most all sizes but linking a few other festive options (with LTK) as well as the heart ones in case they are restocked! 🤞🏼❤️❤️❤️ click the link in my bio and then select “shop my instagrams” to check out this look and others I’ve shared! http://liketk.it/360ql #liketkit @liketoknow.it ...
