I was asked to partner with Daily Harvest and immediately got so excited because I’ve been using this company for over four years now! If you love smoothies and want to be able to have smoothie-bar quality drinks at home, then this is definitely a post you’re going to want to keep reading. Daily Harvest also has other cups like chia bowls, lattes, grain bowls, and more. Aside from super good flavor and shipped-to-your-door convenience, there’s another thing that all of these different types of recipes have in common: they are all built on fruits and vegetables.
The reason I started ordering from Daily Harvest four years ago is because I was a brand new mom and didn’t have a kitchen because it was totally under renovation from the time I was 37 weeks pregnant until Watson was 9 weeks old. I needed the ability to have healthy snacks, like smoothies, but in a super convenient way. I simply didn’t have the ability (read: counter space) to chop up tons of different fruits and veggies, in addition to other supplements like flax or oats, etc. I needed something that was ready to blend. I placed an order and was immediately impressed with the convenience. I was able to have a nutritious smoothie that was fueling my body, while not taking away hardly any time from my new life as a mom.

Let’s talk about the smoothies first. All you do is take off the lid and fill the cup to the top with the liquid of your choice. For the fruity smoothies, I like to use coconut water, but for the sweeter ones like Cold Brew + Almond, which you see above, I like to use milk. Sometimes I use almond milk, sometimes nonfat milk—it’s just a matter of what I have on hand.
Then, pour the cup into a blender and go for it.
The great thing is that once it’s blended, you can just pour the smoothie back into the Daily Harvest cup, put the lid back on, and you’re good to go.
I also wanted to show you how to prepare one of the other recipes, like the Harvest Bowls.
In this case, all you do is open the cup, pour the contents into a pan on a hot stove, and give it a few stirs. You may need to add a tablespoon of water or broth, if desired.
I can’t even express how delicious the flavors are. Honestly, they knew what they were doing when Daily Harvest created these. I actually haven’t ever had one that I didn’t care for, but I certainly have some favorites. We’ll get to that in a minute!
It’s nice to be able to see exactly what you’re eating written on the side of the cup. This is the case for all of the different recipe varieties, whether it’s a smoothie, a chia bowl, or any of the other kinds. Whenever I see the ingredients, I always think, “Yep. There’s no way I’d create this from scratch on my own.” Even taking convenience out of the equation (because nothing can beat Daily Harvest on that), I know I simply wouldn’t get all of these ingredients to do this on my own at home. That’s just me!
If you’re interested in trying Daily Harvest, here are my favorite flavors I’ve tried over the years.
Want to try the Mulberry + Dragonfruit next!
Going to add the Ginger + Turmeric to my next order. Just to note, you get 3 pods in each cup!
In addition to the smoothies, oat bowls, harvest bowls, and lattes, there are also bites, flat breads, chia bowls, scoops, and soups!
