1. beautycounter skin twin

This is a new foundation that Beautycounter released and I have to say, it’s exceptional. If you like a heavy duty matte finish, then you most likely won’t like this, but I am imagining you could set it pretty well with powder and possibly love it as much as I do. But I do prefer a more natural finish that’s not too dewy or matte. I’m shade 340.

What really impresses me about this foundation is how well it blends. I don’t know if I’ve ever used a foundation that just glides on as well as this, but also doesn’t look like it’s sitting on top of my skin. It gives me a fresh-faced look that makes my skin look even, but not like makeup. The longevity is pretty decent, too, if not better than any others I’ve tried in many years on the “clean beauty” front.

2. mbr skincare enzyme cleanser

I truly hate to even bring this one up because wow is it pricey, but this is like a secret potion to me and I cannot get enough. I was introduced to this incredible product while at Ella Ora and I had to buy it on the spot because I was that impressed with it. To set the stage, Ella Ora believes that we should be striving to decrease inflammation in the skin, which can end up contributing to skincare issues like acne and hyperpigmentation. So a harsh physical exfoliator is not in their wheelhouse to say the least, as that can definitely inflame the skin.

This cleanser is in a powder form and once you mix it with water in the palm of your hand, it creates the most luxurious foam that gently exfoliates impurities from the skin. As someone with highly congestion-prone skin, this makes my face look so polished and refreshed after each use. The great thing about it (and something that helps me justify the price) is that a little bit goes a long way, so it’s going to last a really long time—maybe around a year. Also, it optimizes my skin and preps it for all the skincare I do afterwards, helping every step that follows to work better so that I’m getting the most bang for my buck out of those.

3. barefaced glow peel pads by jordan harper

If you want to wake up with glowy skin, I definitely suggest giving these a try! I use them maybe 1-2x per week and when I do, I can certainly see a difference the next morning in tone, texture, and overall clarity. They use 15% glycolic acid, which helps to remove dead cells from the complexion, revealing brighter, fresher skin. These peel pads are also packed with vitamins and antioxidants!

4. beautycounter daily sheer defense sunscreen SPF25

I’ve shared before how crazy I am over the beautycounter body sunscreen, so you can imagine my excitement when they created their first SPF for the face. It’s very sheer and light, which is perfect for the face—and it’s totally amazing. I can wear it under my makeup without it feeling thick or slippery. In fact, it feels just like a moisturizer and absorbs in very nicely without giving a white cast, despite the 15% non-nano zinc oxide it contains. This is a clean formula, so it’s free of all the nasty ingredients, but yet it’s full of so many beneficial things like squalene, vitamin e, and chicory root extract to keep the skin hydrated.
