One of my favorite things to do when we are home is to set the table in a special way. Whether it’s just us and I’m trying to create a date night at home or when we are entertaining friends. It’s nice to give the atmosphere a little extra thought. Today I’m sharing a pretty simple brunch table using things I already had at home. I’ve found that once you start building your entertaining “collection,” it’s easy to pull a few things out in about three minutes and make it look like you really put forth a huge effort.
For this table on our screened porch, I started off with our my favorite white tablecloth, which is under $20 and perfect for indoors or a temporary outdoor setup. I am a huge fan of India Amory and love Julia’s new lapis blue placemats and napkins, which look so nice bare on a table or atop a white tablecloth. We happened to have these hydrangeas from a shoot, so I put them in this big blue and white vase, which I can’t get enough of. Everything else followed suit and is linked below!
