You last saw Watson’s room back at the end of 2018 when we had just transitioned him over to a big boy room. Truth be told, those images give a much better depiction of the space and are much more lovely than these quick snaps, but I wanted to take a few shots of his space now that some things are different in the room.

You might notice that the rug is different than the one we had in his room the last time you saw it. The reason why we changed it is because with the rug being placed over carpet, we needed one that was super thick, tightly bound, and sturdy. The Annie Selke one was so beautiful, but it moved a bit too much when you walked over it. It worked well at the beginning but we finally needed to switch it! The one you see in here now is one we bought back in July of 2017 when we moved into this house and it still looks wonderful.

You may recognize the ducduc shelving unit, the chalkboard, and the bench from our playroom. The reason they were moved in here is because we actually changed the playroom into an office, so we had to figure out what to do with all of the playroom toys and ended up moving quite a bit of them in Watson’s room. This has been a very good change for us because Watson has “quiet time” every day where he plays with his toys in his room while Rosie naps. The ducduc pieces provide a lot of storage for him and are so cute!
