Whatever school looks like this year for you and your children, the time is here to get back into the swing of things one way or another. Our two started back in person earlier this week and I’ve been so thrilled to see them get to enjoy being around friends again for a few hours each morning. Well, “see” might be the wrong word as parents aren’t allowed in the building this year. But I can tell by their faces just how exciting it is to them, which makes me so happy.
Sometimes I have a hard time finding clothes that fit Watson’s petite figure. Shorts and pants—something you’d think would be a breeze to find—are so long on him! But last year I discovered the best boys chinos at Janie & Jack for Watson and he now lovingly calls them his “button pants” and wants to wear them all the time. I bought them in three colors and he has worn them so much that he has torn the knees in each one! I guess having a functioning button and zipper on them very much makes him feel like a big boy and makes him want to do big boy things, like running and sliding on his knees across the hardwood floor.
With that said, it was definitely time to get him some new pants, so I went straight to Janie & Jack again this year. Granted, he won’t truly be needing long pants until November since it stays hot here in Charleston for so long, but they were having a great sale that is still ongoing—a great time to stock up!
And you know my love of little toddler girl dresses. I especially like a blue dress, like this one Rosie is wearing. So sweet.
All of these items are on sale!!
Rosie’s Dress (I went up to a 3 for her.)
Watson’s Pants (I always go down to a 3 for him and as you can see, there is still extra room.)
Watson’s Shirt (I went down to a 3 in this for him, as well.)
I’m going to link a few other really sweet pieces I’m loving below, all of which are on big sale!
Thank you to Janie & Jack for partnering on this post.
