brunch at home

We had this cheery brunch scene in March and I believe I shared a little photo on instagram, but I always meant to put it in a proper blog post, so here we are!

We had this cheery brunch scene in March and I believe I shared a little photo on instagram, but I always meant to put it in a proper blog post, so here we are!

This was back at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown when we passed the time by making a new tablescape every few days and we picked a new picnic spot each week. Oh how oblivious we were thinking it would just last a few weeks! Still, I would honestly go back to that lockdown in a heartbeat!! Minus the actual Coronavirus aspect of it all, of course.

These are some of my favorite casual tablescape items to keep on hand, from the Amanda Lindroth tray and carafe to the Aerin for Williams Sonoma champagne bucket I’ve had for years now, and these really pretty woven placemats by Juliska, too.

Oh and don’t forget the India Amory tablecloth, which I admittedly left on this porch for way too long and got a few mold spots on.
