It’s wedding season again—although needless to say, that phrase looks a little different this year. My heart goes out to all of our 2020 brides. I have such massive respect for any of you who have had to reschedule, rearrange, and reconfigure your special days. What seems to be the silver lining, at least from an outsider looking in, is that weddings are more intimate this year, which gives the bride and groom more of an opportunity to enjoy each and every guest. Our wedding was such a whirlwind with around 300 people, so I in many ways envy the more intimate gatherings.
On that note, if you haven’t checked out this article in Vogue, I highly recommend as it describes Mini, the founder of The Goldbug Collection’s, beautiful backyard wedding day here in Charleston. A great example of a 2020 wedding that had to shift gears but ended up being beyond romantic and sweet.
With that said, let’s talk about what to wear to weddings this fall. I’ve had a lot of requests to gather my favorite fall dresses that are appropriate for weddings of many kinds. So below, you’ll find 25 favorites in various styles and price points. Hope this is helpful!
I’m wearing this dress by Hunter Bell NYC, one of my favorite designers. It runs TTS. Along with my all time favorite pumps, the Perfect Pump 85 by Sarah Flint. My earrings are by Hunter Blake Designs! My bracelet is a longtime favorite by Hyla Dewitt.
