Three more sleeps until Christmas! It feels so good to check out a little and soak up the holiday with my little family. Here’s a list of fun things you can do with yours, given you’re home enjoying together time as well! Everything on this list is something we’ve already done or plan to do. Merry Christmas, my friends!

Read a bedtime story by the tree. We always read Twas The Night Before Christmas by the tree before bed on Christmas Eve.

Make homemade hot chocolate. It’s pretty easy and tastes delicious! Here’s a simple recipe, but I like to add a pinch of sea salt at the end as well.

Make Christmas cards for loved ones. I think we’ll make them in the shape of snowflakes!

Watch as many Christmas movies as you can. I watched Holiday in the Wild the other day on Netflix and while it wasn’t overly Christmasy, it was still really good!

Bake a holiday treat. We might make these, just like last year!

Drive around and look at Christmas lights. Our favorite thing to do!

Make homemade ornaments. Here’s how to make cinnamon applesauce ornaments. We made them the other day and they make your whole home smell delicious, too!

Donate canned goods. We have multiple “Blessing Boxes” in our area that we will be sure to help fill.

Decorate a gingerbread house or cookies. If you’re building a gingerbread house, hot glue the pieces together before decorating! I promise it will save a lot of tears.

Turn up the holiday music and listen to it while you cook. Dance parties are bonus points.
