Just a little moment to share some pictures from the home front. We are moving our way along! It’s going to be the end of April when we are getting moved in, but hey, we are looking more and more like a house!

The trim is going up! I’ve been asked what product is on the walls and ceilings–all I really know is it is wood and called tongue and groove. The one on the ceiling is butted, meaning there isn’t a little v-groove like you can see on the walls in between each piece.

I wanted our door and window trim to not be too thick and heavy. I really am happy with how it turned out!

Our front door was installed! It’s amazing what some natural light can do for a space.

The crown has been installed in the upstairs bedrooms.

For downstairs, we added two extra pieces to the crown, making it look like this.

Backyard view. The downstairs garage/living area is still having some approvals to go through before it gets finished.

Cumberland mix for the garden pathways! It kind of looks like mulch or something in this picture because it was wet from rain, but it’s a very pretty natural colored gravel mix.

That’s it for today – lots on the list! Happy Valentine’s Day, friends. Brandon and I had our first date 18 years ago on Valentine’s Day! Wow that makes me feel so old. I was 14 years old. My parents definitely let a child go out of the house that night, but only after a full background and family check (no, really) and we were only allowed to go 5 minutes down the road and with another couple! Safe to say it all worked out!
