what’s in my amazon cart this week

Seriously though, what would we do without Amazon? I’ve been doing lots of last minute back to school shopping on there, while also stumbling across some pretty home items as well. I normally don’t share things until they come in, but I thought it would be fun to share exactly what I’ve got in my cart!

photo is totally unrelated to this post, but my rug is from annie selke, table is an antique, sideboard is from here, lamps are old from GDC, chinoiserie panel is an antique, the rattan vase is amanda lindroth, and my outfit is linked here!

Dr. Singha’s Mustard Bath

I’ve been told that this helps to pull sickness out of your body—colds, little viruses, etc. I actually first heard about this from Gucci Westman (of Westman Atelier) who said a functional medicine doctor told her to put a scoop in her kids’ bathtub every night to keep them from getting sick. I’m sure many think this is woo woo, but this “mustard bath” is a therapeutic blend of essential oils in Ayurvedic bath salts form. These salts help to detoxify and cleanse the body, while being relaxing and great for swollen, achey muscles. I used to put one scoop in the kids bath every night but then ran out, so I figured it’s a great time to repurchase with it school getting started again.

Rechargeable Outdoor Table Lamp

Picked up two of these little lamps for outdoor dinner parties. This concept of a USB rechargeable lamp in lieu of candles is going around (or in addition to candles for extra light!), but these are the prettiest ones I’ve seen. I love the fuller lamp shade! And for under $50 each, which is a much better price than I’ve seen elsewhere.

Silicone Phone Case

I do love my Loopy Case and have barely wavered from that in 3-4 years, but something about this fun yellow made me add it to my cart! I did have to order one of these as well, because goodness knows I can’t hold a phone without some version of a loop!

Sharpie S-Note Creative Markers

The beautiful colors!! The incredible reviews! I couldn’t resist. With the kids being back in school, I’m hoping to get a hold of my life, haha, and maybe having some pretty pens will help me get organized.

Hydro Flask 12 Ounce Water Bottle

Because I have tried approximately 75 different water bottles for the kids and these are the best, hands down. I keep reordering more, one at a time, until we replace our full water bottle stash for the kids. I like them more than our Yetis! The silicone bottom to them is nice for when the kids aggressively set them down on the table. They don’t leak. The colors are pretty. I could go on, but these are just a few reasons why I will hand wash these for the kids to reuse in the morning before using one of our other clean water bottles. (Now we won’t have to since I ordered more!)

XL Heating Pad for Neck and Back

Truly the best heating pad ever. Mine has finally bit the bullet after two years of constant use every night. I use it every night when I get in bed and it’s so relaxing. I need to get better at using the auto-shut off. I noticed mine is no longer working, I immediately put another one in my cart and didn’t bat an eyelash at the thought of ordering another.
