Well, I went through all 70-something pages of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale products last night while watching the first three episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. I used to really go crazy during this sale, but I’ve kind of learned over the years that the clothing pieces usually do go on sale again during the fall/winter. And since most of them are cold weather clothing items and I live in Charleston, SC, where it is hot until December, it sort of makes sense just to wait for a time that I’ll actually need them.
Even with that considered, there are so many other incredible deals happening in this sale, so I don’t feel like it’s overhyped at all. The amount of discounts on items from home, children, beauty, and clothing are really huge! But I think it’s just important to not get caught up in the buzz of it all and remember to only stock up on the things you actually need.
With that said, I have a list of favorite picks! These are things I would be shopping for anyway, so to get them on such a deal is pretty amazing.
St. Tropez Express Tan ($92 value for $52): This is the self tanner I swear by and have used during the colder months for years! I love it because it only needs 1-3 hours to develop, so you don’t ever have to sleep in it, causing your sheets to get messy. Although sometimes I do sleep in it, with long black jammies, and I’ve honestly never had it transfer onto my sheets. It’s fantastic!!
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Daily Exfoliating Foaming Cleanser ($68 value for $47): While I don’t use this in my daily regimen, I have a deluxe travel size of this that I indulge in during a trip. It’s one of the best feeling cleansers I’ve ever tried! The reviews seem to agree as well.
Jo Malone Jumbo Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body & Hand Wash ($74 value for $55): One of my favorite scents ever!
NuFace Mini+ ($245 value for $165): If you haven’t tried a NuFace, it’s like gua sha on steroids! It lifts and tightens your face, sculpts cheekbones, and makes the face look way more refreshed.
Chantecaille Lift & Hydrate Duo ($570 value for $400): While this is a super expensive set, this is genuinely one of the best masks I’ve ever used. It makes your skin look tighter, higher, and more glowly. I’ve never tried the cream, but can imagine it’s just as magical.
Moroccan Oil Nourishing Treasures Set ($72 value for $48): I used this way back in the day and over the past few months, went back to it. I forgot how much I love it… and my hair does, too!
Drybar Double Shot Blow Dryer Brush ($155 value for $103): This is one of my favorite hair tools! Gives you the salon blowout look with very little effort.
OSEA Golden Glow Discovery Set ($98 value for $58): One of my all time favorite body oils and the body butter is absolutely divine.
Necessaire Body Wash Duo ($50 value for $35): You get two of my holy grail body washes! It’s all I’ve used as my body wash for almost 5 years now!
Silk Skinny Scrunchies ($65 value for $44): There are dupes out there, but to me, nothing compares! These are wonderful because they don’t break your hair at all.

I also regretting not buying this during the Anniversary Sale last year… it disappeared after the sale in that colorway and I’m thrilled to see it back! Also a great time to stock up on these for gifts.
