Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday! We spent yesterday working on a historical figures project with Watson for his school, cleaning up around the house, checking on a few things at the new house because the interior is being painted, and enjoying a somewhat lazy day.

We bought this painting from a booth in Mt. Pleasant Mall. A fun surprise is when we got it home, we found the actual photograph of this scene hidden away in the back sleeve of the frame. I found this lamp three years ago at CK Swan. I have moved it all over from house to house, but I finally have found a spot for it!

 

Ha – Clearly I didn’t pick up before taking these pictures aside from fluffing some pillows….you can see below how dirty the floors are and if you’re wondering what the big green smudges all over the top of the table are… it is paint! The fun of this place is how anything can be stained and it either doesn’t matter or it can be washed. Watson and Rosie like to paint artwork on this table all the time… good thing is it will come right off with water!

 

It’s a small kitchen, so this English antique piece below is pretty but most important, functional for storage!
